The 2024 Outlaw Speed Shop Off-Street Drag Racing event was a thrilling display of high-performance cars and bikes, and some amazing riders and drivers tearing up the strip. With an electrifying atmosphere, the event featured racers from all over, each pushing the limits of their bikes in the 1/4 mile dragstrip.
The rider we were sponsoring was Ryan Burbidge and his finely tuned Suzuki GSXR 750. Ryan's GSXR 750 is a beast of a machine with a CS Racing Exhaust, and Woolich Quick Shifter, and makes 133.18hp.

Ryan's Suzuki GSXR 750 didn’t disappoint during the event. His 1/4 mile times were sensational for his first time out. His 1/4 mile times were as follows:
Run 1: 11.066 @ 209.34kph
Run 2: 10.754 @ 212.68kph
Run 3: 10.705 @ 212.97kph
Run 4: 10.629 @ 217.06kph
Run 5: 10.571 @ 217.40kph
Run 6: 10.587 @ 216.69kph
Run 7: 10.674 @ 212.86kph
Run 8: 16.451 @ 114.20kph
These were amazing times for his first drag racing event. After these 8 runs, the DYO (dial your own) challenge began.
DYO 1/4 mile times:
Run 1: 10.604 @ 214.36kph (Win)
Run 2: 10.617 @ 215.81kph (Win)
Run 3 (Grand Final): 10.693 @ 213.97kph (Lose)
Overall, at the end of the DYO challenge, Ryan Burbidge finished 2nd overall 🥈 out of all the competitors in the DYO challenge. To make it to the Top 2 and finish second overall is an absolutely amazing result. We could not be more proud of Ryan Burbidge and his Suzuki GSXR 750's performance. We can feel that win coming and we know it is only just around the corner.
